Clearly Education is seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant in Lowestoft to work in schools across Lowestoft and nearby Suffolk areas. About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Working closely with teachers, you’ll support pupils’ academic and personal growth, helping them gain confidence and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities – Learning Support Assistant Lowestoft
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Assist in lesson preparation and classroom organisation
* Encourage participation, focus, and positive behaviour
* Promote an inclusive and safe learning space
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents
* Follow safeguarding procedures, including Prevent and FGM awareness
* Work flexibly across schools in the Lowestoft area
Requirements
* Experience as an LSA in supporting children or young people (preferred)
* A caring and patient approach
* Understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist if needed)
* Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare or Education (advantageous)
* Paediatric First Aid certificate beneficial
