Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer Location: Cardiff Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week We are working with a leading UK organisation within the energy-from-waste and resource recovery sector, operating a large-scale Energy Recovery Facility. This organisation plays a key role in supporting the UK’s sustainability and carbon reduction targets. An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join their team at their Cardiff site. The Role As the EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for all electrical, control and instrumentation engineering and maintenance activities on site, working closely with the mechanical and central engineering teams. You will ensure the long-term reliability, performance, and compliance of the plant, supporting safe and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include: * Leading EC&I maintenance and engineering activities across the plant * Planning and delivering preventative and reactive maintenance * Managing EC&I workshops and associated resources * Maximising plant availability and asset performance * Supporting the achievement of departmental financial targets * Supervising contractors and internal teams to deliver KPIs * Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Requirements * Strong knowledge of EC&I systems,...
