Application Developer
Work Location: Central, Singapore
Job Type: 3 Years Contract, subject to renewal
About the Role
The Application Developer will play a key role in analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality applications using web and mobile technologies. The role requires close collaboration with architects, analysts, and development teams to ensure technical cohesion and timely delivery of solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Work closely with architects and analysts to ensure cohesion between the proposed solutions and technical requirements.
2. Participate actively in the analysis and design of new functionalities and components according to development specifications.
3. Build modules and interfaces for various applications using Web and mobile technologies.
4. Participate in development meetings and share information to help with project progress.
5. Design and carry out verification tests to ensure the quality of the applications that have been developed.
6. Document the work completed as part of the project.
7. Preparation of training manuals for users.
8. Deliver the solution within the timeline with good work quality.
9. Perform other related tasks as when required.
Job Requirements
1. A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Science, IT, Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
2. A minimum of 4 years programming experience in object-oriented programming languages using C#.
3. At least 2 years of working experience on .NET MVC 5, Razor views, Web API, Entity Framework and WCF.
4. Working experience on web user interface components like Bootstrap, Kendo UI or similar components.
5. Deep functional knowledge or hands‑on design experience with Web Services.
6. Experience with relational database technology including schema design, stored procedure development and SQL queries.
7. Deep expertise and hands‑on experience with Web front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX.
8. A minimum of 1 year of experience in Unit testing.
9. Hands‑on experience with AngularJS.
10. Experience in Agile / Scrum / CMMI methodologies (or any equivalent).
11. Exposure to SharePoint customization and familiarity with basic application security and web security is an advantage.
