Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. The successful candidate will develop mechatronic systems to enhance aerodynamics testing for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
1. Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive testing.
2. Create system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
3. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers for innovative solutions.
4. Liaise with suppliers for component selection.
5. Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging.
6. Oversee prototype and production delivery, including mechanical design, PCB layout, and software integration.
7. Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary system design.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.

Master’s degree in relevant fields.
Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
Knowledge of control systems and theory.
