Job title: Import/Export Clerk
Reports to: Import Manager
Main purpose of the role
We are looking for a brightenthusiastic individual who has had at least 2 years general forwarding experience especially in Exports.
Key responsibilities
* Work according to the export process: including all country specific requirements i.e.
* Responsible for customer contacts
* Assist in supplier and customer queries
* Assure timely billing as per company policy
* Deal with all aspects of Exports
* Deal with all customer issues
* Provide excellent customer service
* Correct flow of documentation
* Able to work independently within the export process
* Be able to deal with all export shipments from start to finish
* Knows supplier conditions, deliver terms, Inco terms and purchasing conditions
* Good knowledge of computer system, and invoicing
* Knowledge and experience of Customs and documentation
* Good communication skills
* Able to manage own working time effectively

Salary: £27k - £40k dependant on experience
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
