FRS is recruiting a Credit Controller for a rapidly growing SME based in North Coventry.
This is a team-based role working as part of a 5-6 person finance department. The business is ever-growing, which may lead to internal promotion opportunities in the future. The company is committed to providing support and ongoing professional training for interested candidates.
Suitable candidates will have 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally using Sage Line 50 and MS Excel, though system knowledge is not essential. The company prefers candidates who can perform the duties listed below and bring a bit of personality. They operate in a social, vibrant office environment, so fitting into this established team is vital.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently process debit and credit payments as required.
2. Manage and provide monthly statements.
3. Send reminder debt collection letters.
4. Set up and administer credit insurance.
5. Forecast expected cash flow.
6. Communicate verbally with customers regarding overdue amounts and update notes on customer ledgers.
7. Take ownership of managing outstanding debts.
8. Manage allocated accounts effectively and efficiently, building good working relationships with clients in a friendly manner.
9. Prioritize departmental workloads to ensure the team delivers information (KPIs) and reports timely and efficiently.
