Do you have a passion for working with children? Do you have experience of working with children aged 0-5 years? We are looking for a outgoing and confident nursery practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that all the children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences, appropriate to their age and stage of development
* Observe, support, and extend children's learning
* Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework
* Maintain accurate and effective children's records
* Work with room staff to support the running and implanting of learning and development
* Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members
* Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion
* Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and health and safety is complied with

Except for occasional training you are not required to work evening or weekends. The setting is closed on all bank holidays, we also do not open on Christmas Eve The nursery closes over Christmas until the first working day in the New Year.
We are asking that the right candidate must:
Have a relevant Childcare Qualification (Essential)
Have at least 1 year's experience within early years (Essential- will be checked upon reference)
Understand how to plan for children's development (Essential)
Have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum (Essential)
Be First Aid Trained (Desirable)
