Our client is looking for an experienced HGV Driver (Class 1) to join their team based in Pocklington, working Monday - Friday - Days – Nights Out will be required each week. Your role will be to safely and efficiently deliver their bulk liquid products to customers nationwide using a bulk liquid tanker or curtainside trailer. (no regular weekend work) Expected duties: Driving a modern unit and trailer to deliver our bulk and multidrop products to customer sites nationwide. Loading the tanker/trailer with product as required. Discharging product and completing relevant paperwork. Complete daily vehicle safety checks. Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy. Complying with all driver’s hours and working time regulations. Following customer and company guidelines and processes. Your skills/background : HGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points Tachograph Card Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) Good understanding of Driver Transport Legislation Strong safety focus Night Out availability Mon-Fri Class 1 HGV Experience Tanker experience desirable Attention to detail and experience completing paperwork. Team Player Willingness to go above and beyond. This is a Temp to Perm position, initially working through the agency and then transferring over to the client after 12 weeks.
