We’re excited to offer a full‑time, permanent Social Worker position (Grade 8) within our dedicated Family Finding Team. Since April 2020, Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council have come together to form our Regional Adoption Agency (RAA): Adoption Lancashire and Blackpool. Hosted by Lancashire County Council, we provide a full range of adoption services to families right across the region. As part of the RAA, you’ll be helping to deliver key services, including: Recruiting and assessing adopters Offering adoption support Contributing to adoption panels Family finding and matching children with their future families Although our team is based centrally in Preston, you’ll work flexibly, meeting families across the region as part of your role.
