Job Title: Paralegal
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £33,619.98 per annum (up to £37,101.35 after 12 months of successful performance)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – Hybrid
Location: Speke, Liverpool
Role Profile
* Provide high quality, responsive and consistent legal support on access matters from start to conclusion.
* Check receipt of legal documentation such as legal packs and Court Orders.
* Accurately draft Court paperwork, including claim forms, particulars of claim, draft orders and witness evidence.
* Update electronic case management system and customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to keep case information current.
* Prepare Court bundles.
* Maintain the Legal Team's diaries with hearing dates.
* Attend Court to represent TRGL.
* Draft Briefs to Advocates.
* Instruct Process Servers.
* Liaise with the Court regarding applications and discontinue cases where necessary.
* Collaborate with the Legal and Building Compliance teams to develop efficient, cost‑effective access processes.
* Manage a high volume of work with competing priorities and deadlines.
* Adhere to internal timescales and service standards.
* Optimize use of the Legal case management system and Salesforce templates to deliver excellent service.
* Attend meetings with the Housing Litigation and Building Compliance teams as required.
* Assist with managing the Housing Litigation Team’s SharePoint and intranet pages.
* Contribute as an effective team player in wider team activities beyond Building Compliance work.
* Act as an ambassador for the Legal team, supporting corporate objectives positively and constructively.
* Pursue personal and team objectives and attend training opportunities.
* Adhere to the business’ policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* A Degree from a recognised UK university or equivalent (or qualification from a non‑UK university).
* Excellent database management skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* High level of IT literacy and excellent research skills.
* Ability to build strong working relationships within TRGL and with external stakeholders and advisers.
