Head of Supply Chain & Procurement Location : Hybrid working, ideally located within close proximity of our Stoke on Trent, Central Support office. Our Head of Supply Chain & Procurement is a senior role in our business, reporting to an Executive Director, taking responsibility and accountability for leading and developing our company wide supply chain strategy, which covers all aspects of expenditure such as material, subcontract and indirect spend, including a significant van fleet. With the support and structure of regional supply chain managers and coordinators, who are aligned to each business area, you will strategically lead to ensure a high performing supply chain are sourced that align to the business strategy and future growth. Based within the Construction sector, Novus Property Solutions is a leading fast track fit out, refurbishment, maintenance and retrofit company. We are dedicated to delivering high quality services across a wide range of sector including, social housing, healthcare, education and hotels, and several work streams. Due to the nature of our business, national travel to local operational teams, will be required to forge strong working relationships. An outline of your responsibilities as a Head of Supply Chain & Procurement Lead a team of supply chain professionals and work with Operational teams, to develop a business wide Supply Chain strategy for all categories of spend that maximises opportunities and mitigates risks to create best value for Novus and its clients. Identify, develop and implement process or procedure improvement across the business to improve supply chain governance and transparency. Develop & champion a supply chain sustainability strategy to reduce carbon emissions in line with company targets. Maintain knowledge of external markets and continually engage with supply chain partners to review performance, deliver best value, innovation and create competitive advantage. Work with operational teams and subcontractors, to ensure health & safety standards are understood and followed across all supply chain deliver work streams. Lead the management of a significant van fleet and salary sacrifice car scheme to maintain a high level of operational delivery and colleague experience. About You As an experienced Head of Supply Chain & Procurement, you will have a strong track record of success within the Construction maintenance and refurbishment sector, acting as a subject matter expert for Supply Chain and Procurement across our business. You will be commercially astute, driven by success with people management experience. You will have strong stakeholder management skills, proven success in negotiating and the ability to forge strong relationships both internally and externally. You will need to hold a Full UK driving licence.
