Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGVs on night trunking and general haulage routes
2. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects promptly
3. Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and digital tachograph systems
4. Complete up to 2–3 drops per shift, primarily depot-to-depot or trunking runs- No handball
5. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and ensure compliance with driving regulations
6. Secure loads following health & safety best practices to ensure safe transport
7. Deliver excellent customer service representing the company professionally at all times
Requirements
8. Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, UK CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
9. Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles
10. Maximum 6 points on licence; no DR or IN endorsements permitted
11. Strong knowledge of EU driving hours, WTD regulations, and health & safety standards
12. Good communication skills with a professional and reliable approach
