Job Description
As a Live-In Carer, you will support clients with daily living, promote independence, and help them remain safe, comfortable, and happy at home. This role is ideal for someone with experience in home care, domiciliary care, assisted living, or nursing environments, who is passionate about making a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and continence care
2. Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement within the home
3. Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration
4. Support with medication in line with care plans and training
5. Offer companionship and emotional support
6. Encourage social interaction and meaningful activities
7. Assist clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s using person-centred approaches
8. Carry out light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean home
9. Monitor wellbeing and report any changes to the care team
10. Maintain accurate care records
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
11. Previous experience in care, home care, senior care, or nursing (preferred but not essential)
12. A kind, patient, and compassionate nature
13. Good communication skills
14. Understanding of first aid and emergency procedures (training provided)
15. Relevant training or qualifications (e.g. dementia care) is an advantage
16. A UK driving license is beneficial but not essential
17. Right to work in the UK
18. Working Pattern: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

19. £130.00 to £135.00 per day
20. 35p per mile for business mileage
