Store Manager role at MPK Garages Ltd. MPK Garages Ltd is a long-established petrol filling station & convenience store operator with partnerships in Nisa & Texaco and a focus on delivering great customer service and a high quality, good value product range that is convenient for all customers.
The Store Manager will lead the team at Kingsweston Service Station, Kingsweston Avenue, Shirehampton, BS11 0AH, ensuring excellent customer service, strong store standards and sound financial performance.
Responsibilities
* Open the store in accordance with company trading hours and ensure customers are served quickly and professionally with exceptional service.
* Manage stock, maximise sales, ensure product availability, merchandising and promotions within the store.
* Control KPI performance, manage wage costs, waste, stock and cash shortages.
* Oversee the sale of alcohol and implement Challenge 25 as required.
* Recruit and manage the performance of the team, training staff to the correct level for their roles.
* Complete daily back-office paperwork and banking accurately within allocated timelines.
* Oversee food preparation and ensure food safety records meet company standards.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the store and forecourt.
* Manage fuel stocks and coordinate deliveries safely and legally in line with petroleum regulations.
* Implement company policies and procedures to ensure safe and legal store operation.
Knowledge And Skills
* Experience in a management or supervisory role within a retail environment.
* Lead by example with a hands-on approach; able to coach and motivate the team to maximise sales and profitability.
