A Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor is required to join a major organisation based in the South East on a permanent basis. The Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor will be joining an established in-house legal team and handling a range of nationally significant work.
The successful candidate will benefit from flexible working but must attend the office in the South East at least once a week.
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience managing and negotiating Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts, including performance monitoring, risk assessment, and stakeholder liaison across public and private sectors.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of PFI contract lifecycle management, particularly contract handback, asset condition assessment, and compliance with financial and legal obligations.
Experience in construction law and/or Public Procurement is advantageous but not essential.
As a Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor, your responsibilities will include:
* Advising on engineering and construction matters related to large infrastructure projects
* Managing the lifecycle of PFI contracts
* Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing complex commercial contracts
* Providing guidance on public procurement regulations and policies
* Handling legal matters, both contentious and non-contentious
