Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak. Job Description Setting & operating 4 & 5 axis machining centres. Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines. Understand Mazak CNC controls & offer improvement ideas to the role. Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules. Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives. Essential Criteria Have an understanding of milling/machining centre machines. Have experience & can safely set & operate automated CNC loaded machine tools. Have experience with cutting tools, fixtures & measuring equipment. Have a can-do attitude. Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Desirable Criteria Can edit & alter programs, Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
