Kitchen Assistant
Hours: Full Time (Working alternate weekends)
Location: Radbrook Nursing Home, Radbrook, Shrewsbury, SY3 6AL
Our team is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain experience within the kitchen or perhaps develop a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents' dietary requirements are met.
Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant:
* Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
* Cleaning all crockery, cutlery, and food preparation equipment
* Assisting in preparation of meals for service
* Preparing food and ingredients for service
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* A caring and compassionate nature
* Catering/cooking experience
* Food Safety knowledge
* The desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others
* Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work weekends
