1. Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

As the Supervising Social Worker, you will:
6. Recruit, assess, and supervise foster carers to ensure safe, nurturing placements
7. Provide regular supervision and support visits to foster families
8. Contribute to annual reviews and ensure compliance with fostering standards
9. Deliver and support training including ‘Skills to Foster’
10. Attend professional meetings and support carers in care planning
11. Maintain accurate case recordings and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
12. Promote the agency’s services and contribute to business development
Essential requirements of this Supervising Social Worker role:
13. Registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England
14. CQSW, Diploma in Social Work, or BA in Social Work
15. Experience working with children and families
16. Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding, and care planning
17. Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills
18. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
