About the Role
We are seeking a confident and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our thriving primary school in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development across the primary age range.
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, leading whole-class sessions in the absence of a teacher, and providing targeted support to individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead planned lessons across the primary phase when required
* Support class teachers with planning and assessment
* Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions to accelerate progress
* Support pupils with diverse needs, including SEN and EAL
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Contribute to behaviour management and pastoral care
* Help create engaging displays and contribute to school life

What We’re Looking For
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience with willingness to obtain qualification)
* Experience working in a primary school setting
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach
* Passion for making a difference in children’s education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
