About the role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin’s Buffets Department based in Skegness.
Responsibilities
* Support the running of the kitchen and lead a large team of chefs.
* Step up in the Kitchen Manager’s absence.
* Monitor guest experience regularly and develop action plans focused on continuous improvement.
* Support daily briefings, handle stock control and review food presentation.
* Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification.
* Support accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety in line with legislation and company policies.
* Ensure training schedules and performance development plans are in place for your team.
Qualifications
* Passed Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Experience in a similar level role with large volume turnover.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to manage margins and control costs.
* Strong time‑management and organisational skills; able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
* Confidence leading a team to consistently deliver high standards in a busy kitchen environment.
Working Hours
5‑day working week over 7 days covering 40 hours. Shift time: 6 am – 12:00. This role does not come with onsite accommodation.
