Housing Support Worker Darlington £26,994 - £29,498 Per annum (pro rata) Part Time 25 Hours per week Permanent Ref: INS1185719 Join Our Team as a Housing Support Worker! Do you enjoy supporting people to build safer, more secure futures? We are looking for a compassionate and proactive person to join our team, providing housing-related support to families aged 16 and over who may be experiencing homelessness, complex needs, or safeguarding concerns. As a Housing Support Worker, you’ll deliver personalised, trauma-informed support that empowers families to maximise their independence and successfully transition into long-term, sustainable housing. You’ll deliver tenancy support including budgeting, rent management and property upkeep. If you’re empathetic, organised, and passionate about helping families thrive, we’d love to hear from you! Who we’re looking for: • Experience of working with vulnerable families in supported accommodation • A natural communicator - warm, human, and able to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures • A UK driving licence (or one valid in the UK) and access to a vehicle for work.
