Delta Hotels by Marriott has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our friendly HR team at our Bristol City Centre Hotel.
This is a generalist HR role, based within the Hotel and reporting to the on‑site HR Manager. You will be playing a key part in our recruitment process, training, payroll, employee wellbeing and everything else HR! With a passion for people and an eye for detail, the successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, highly organised, with the enthusiasm to take ownership of tasks and manage prioritisation of changing needs of the business. Career progression and HR qualification sponsorship will be available.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support to the HR team and wider Hotel
* Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
* Maintain and update HR systems and employee records in line with GDPR requirements
* Support monthly payroll by preparing and checking data
* Coordinate training sessions and maintain learning records
* Draft HR letters, contracts, and other employment documentation
* Oversee and coordinate regular employee wellbeing initiatives
* Respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner
* Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Previous experience in an HR support or administration role (ideally within a fast‑paced environment)
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Good working knowledge of HR
* Understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Creative with a passion for employee wellbeing
