Job Description
This role requires a candidate with the ability to work cross-functionally across all aspects of Process Safety. Responsibilities include providing technical advice, conducting safety workshops (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL), performing risk assessments, and reviewing safety studies related to FEED, Design, Construction, and Startup phases.
Job Responsibilities:
* Participate in project risk assessments and safety workshops.
* Lead the team for successful HSEIA process completion.
* Review project documents such as P&ID, plant layout, and operating procedures.
* Engage in multidiscipline design projects and safety studies.
* Calculate fire-water demand and prepare safety equipment layouts and specifications.
* Review safety cases and standards reports.
* Facilitate and chair safety workshops like HAZOP, PHA, LOPA, SIL, etc.
* Deliver safety training and develop training materials.
* Support project management and client interface activities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field.
* 15+ years of technical safety and risk experience in EPC for oil & gas industry.
* Knowledge of ADNOC, SABIC, Saudi Aramco, QE standards (desirable).
* Experience in hydrocarbon industry sectors.
* Proficiency in reading P&ID and PFD.
* Additional knowledge in CFD, RAM, and dropped object studies (advantageous).
