Overview
Associate Director - Recruiting Safety Engineers and Human Factors Engineers. Nuclear Safety Senior Consultant. Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience). Location: Remote / Hybrid (UK-based). Employment Type: Permanent | Full-time. This is a role with a leading UK nuclear safety consultancy, focusing on safety cases, safety justification strategies, and delivery of high-quality safety solutions across civil and defence nuclear sectors.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead nuclear safety justification strategies.
* Undertake detailed hazard and risk analyses, including deterministic, probabilistic, and severe accident assessments.
* Derive and demonstrate compliance with nuclear safety requirements.
* Develop safety cases, risk management plans, and perform independent safety assurance reviews.
* Lead periodic safety reviews of systems and facilities.
* Liaise effectively with regulators and stakeholders.
* Support, mentor and develop junior team members.
About You
Essential Requirements:
* Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline.
* Demonstrable experience in nuclear safety case development.
* In-depth knowledge of Nuclear Site Licence Conditions and/or Authorising Conditions.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* UK national with eligibility to obtain security clearance.
Desirable:
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with the UK Engineering Council. (not essential)
* Previous consultancy experience.
