The more open you are to upskilling, and having a flexible, positive outlook, the more interested we are in you. You’ll be responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the fabrications business unit, as well as the team, scheduling and output quality. This is an integral role requiring good planning and time management skills to ensure that complex fabricated parts are delivered to the highest possible standards and in a timely fashion.

Ensure team members and any site visitors conform with the company’s health and safety standards, without exception
Motivating team to take pride in their work areas and tools
HR effectiveness – managing attendance, sickness records and ensuring effective management of staff holidays so that business is not impacted but equally staff welfare is not impacted
Ensuring you and your team consistently and accurately log projects with timesheet reporting
Identifying personnel issues and responding/managing appropriately – not letting things slide – proactively flagging upwards and seeking HR guidance as required
Interpreting technical drawings/documents
Working closely with design and production times – maintaining strong communications and setting expectations
