A growing organisation in Billingham is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in financial administration who enjoys supporting a dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, youll play a key role in ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records Assist with cashflow updates and invoice processing Support administration and credit control tasks Manage employee records, including starters and leavers Reconcile purchase ledger accounts and assist with payment runs Code and process credit card transactions and other financial adjustments Support direct debit management and related reporting Provide general administrative and finance support, covering team tasks as required Skills & Experience Competent in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong teamwork ethic and ability to build positive working relationships Discretion when handling sensitive information Able to work on own initiative Benefits 22 days holiday per year (plus public holidays) NEST pension scheme with 3% employer contribution Dress-down Fridays Employee Support Programme Standard working hours: 9:00am5:00pm with 30-minute lunch
