The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task • Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment • Support pupils with varying needs, including SEN, where required • Liaise with teaching staff and report on student progress and behaviour You will not be expected to plan lessons, making this a great role for those who enjoy classroom interaction without the pressures of full teaching responsibility.
