Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Location: Canterbury
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage our clients daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to ensure that all processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and order fulfilment
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and safety
Track and analyse key performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, fulfilment rates, and turnaround times
Work closely with other departments to coordinate logistics and resolve any operational issues
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Supervise and support warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
What We're Looking For:
Full UK Driving Licence (Category B+E minimum) - required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational role
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, including inventory systems, shipping/receiving processes, and order dispatch
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
Strong time management and multitasking abilities
Physically capable of lifting heavy items and being on your feet for extended periods
Forklift Licence - preferred but not essential
