Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to build the capacity of our Health and Wellbeing Team. We are seeking an excellent educator with proven Physical Education experience in a secondary setting. Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate others are important, alongside a commitment to championing the rights of all our young people.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Physical Education instruction to secondary pupils, supporting the wider health and wellbeing curriculum.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive lessons and assessment strategies across the school.
Participate in safeguarding and child protection protocols, including following the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
Qualifications & Requirements
Register, or be eligible to register, with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).
Hold a relevant degree in Physical Education or equivalent, with demonstrated teaching experience in secondary education.
Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding. Must be willing to undertake and maintain PVG and, where applicable, Overseas Criminal Record checks.
