Requirements
Must have:
- Proven experience as a Head of Engineering or similar leadership role - Strong background in managing teams of managers, including tech leads and engineering managers - Experience in high growth, fast-paced scale-up environments - Hands-on engineering experience with proficiency in languages like Java, Golang, and Python - Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business - Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, and modern tech stacks (Node, React, Azure) - Experience with methodologies like Scrum, Ci/CD, and team capacity management
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary software engineering teams - Ensure teams have the necessary tools and resources to deliver high-quality products - Align architecture and technology roadmaps with business objectives - Oversee the development of features and capabilities, ensuring they meet industry standards - Facilitate quarterly in-person team collaboration days to strengthen team cohesion - Manage team capacity and provide accurate work estimations for project timelines
