Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Scunthorpe
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Salary: £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.50 after 12 weeks
Work Type: Temp to Perm
On behalf of our client we are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative on a temporary basis that could lead to a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production line and must hold an in date Counterbalance license.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and Unloading
Fulfilling orders for the engineers
Forklift work
Location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc.
Goods inwards and receipting of stock
Location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc.
Interacting with material controllers and production staff on daily needs and issues
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in warehouse operations.
Current Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
Good communication & organisational skills
ERP experience – The ability to learn and use a system correctly
Time keeping and attendance
