Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Kidderminster
Pay Rates: £12.40 to £12.78 p/h
Experience: Production/Timber working experience essential
Hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 - 14:30)
Assist Resourcing are looking for Production Operatives in Kidderminster to work for our client, who is a leading manufacturer of rounded agricutural timber products
Things you need to know about this role before you consider applying:
1. This is a manual role and you will be required to lift heavy objects and stack heavy materials
2. You will be working outside all year round - that means in the heat, the cold, the rain and snow
3. The client site is in a very remote, rural area off the A456. You will need your own transport to get to work.

Production Operative - The role & responsibilities:
9. Interpret technical drawings/measurements and production order documentation to assemble timber components
10. Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing products safely
11. Follow Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures, and all relevant processes and equipment instruction
12. Ensure correct packaging and labelling of timber products for identification and stock control
13. Using water-based spray paint equipment to finish Posh Sheds within an enclosed booth
14. Conduct basic routine equipment maintenance and keep a clean, orderly work area
This is a really varied role, so we are looking for individuals who are willing to learn new skills and try new things.
About you:
It is essential that you are:
15. Experienced in using powered hand tools
16. Able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
17. Resilient manual handling skills in an industrial work environment (full training provided)
18. Able to maintain accurate paper and electronic production records
