The ideal candidate will be results-driven and confident in lead generation and outbound sales to join a flexible Sales Team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in generating leads and new prospects for the Sales Team. This position involves making outbound calls, business to business, to promote the company brand and how they benefit national house builders in cost effectively procuring site consumables.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively conduct B2B outbound calls to potential clients and manage interactions in the CRM.
* Qualify leads and generate appointments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect data in the CRM.
* Identify customer needs and provide suitable solutions
* Follow up on leads and nurture long-term client relationships
* Always maintain a professional and polite communication style.
Skills & Qualifications
· Proven telemarketing/sales, inside sales, lead generation or customer service experience (construction or industrial sector is a plus).
· Ambitious with strong initiative, time management, and resilience.
· High emotional intelligence for building relationships and working within a team.
· Excellent communication skills with a clear telephone manner and articulation.
· Strong attention to detail and ownership of tasks.
· IT literacy and proficiency in using CRM systems.
· Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in the business's success
· Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
· Punctuality and reliable attendance
Experience
· Minimum 1 year experience in Sales (lead generation preferred)
· 2+ years telemarketing a plus
