Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional care and educational experiences for children. The ideal candidate will possess a background in early childhood education or childcare,. This role involves working closely with children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being in a nurturing environment.
The role is term time only and the hours of working are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
* Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other daily activities.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that fosters learning and growth.
Skills
* Previous experience working with children, particularly in a nursery or educational setting an advantage. A Level 3 qualification in early years childcare is required.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
