Waste Collection Manager - OTE £50,000 - Monday to Friday The Opportunity We’re looking for a hands-on Waste Collection Manager to join our Southampton team. This is a fast-paced, field-based role where you’ll lead from the front - growing a customer base, developing your team, and delivering an outstanding waste service. The Role Lead, coach, and develop a team of waste collection representatives, spending time in the field to support and improve performance Drive revenue growth by sourcing and winning new business and developing existing customer accounts Manage and grow customer relationships, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and work orders to maximise efficiency and performance Deliver against individual, team, and branch sales and waste targets Handle customer queries and issues promptly, maintaining high service standards Manage team availability, including holiday and sickness cover, to ensure consistent service Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with HSEQ standards About You You’ll come from a sales or account management background and be confident building strong relationships with customers. You’re a natural communicator who enjoys asking the right questions, spotting opportunities, and delivering results in a target-driven environment. With some leadership or supervisory experience, you’re comfortable supporting and guiding others while leading by example. You’ll also hold a full UK Class 2 drivers licence and be happy working in a field-based role.
