North West Carers Service provides support to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of unpaid carers of all ages in the Northwest of Glasgow. We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Family Wellbeing Worker for one year with the possibility of extension dependent on funding. Your new opportunity The successful candidate will be required to: Identify and coordinate support for unpaid carers in North West Glasgow by developing Adult Carer Support Plans that promote wellbeing and help carers balance their caring responsibilities with a life of their own. The successful applicant will be a highly organised and self-motivated individual with the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload. This role is an agile working role with blend of home/office/community settings dependant on service requirements. This is a 12-Month temporary contract, contract may be extended but is subject to funding. 37 hours per week £28,167 per annum Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with possible evening and weekend work. Please note a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential as you will be required to travel to various locations and participate/lead on group work.
