The Opportunity Join a specialist Construction & Engineering team embedded within a strong real estate and development practice. Work across the full lifecycle of construction projects, from procurement and contract drafting through to disputes and resolution. Advise developers, housebuilders, operators and infrastructure clients on complex, commercially significant schemes. Handle a true mix of non-contentious construction work alongside defects, payment and delay disputes as projects evolve. Be involved early, stay involved throughout, and see the real-world impact of your advice. The Work You'll Be Doing Drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and bespoke construction contracts. Advising on professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds and third-party rights. Supporting major development, care, retirement, marine and infrastructure projects. Handling contentious construction issues including defects, termination, payment disputes and adjudications. Working closely with real estate, planning, marine and disputes colleagues as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
