Pay: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking compassionate and adaptable Behaviour & Mental Health Support Workers to join schools across Stoke and Staffordshire. We have a variety of roles available, supporting pupils of primary and secondary age, including schools that cater to both.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in care, health & social care, youth work, or support roles to make a meaningful impact, helping young people with SEMH, Autism, and other complex needs to thrive in education.
What You’ll Do
* Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with emotional, behavioural, or mental health needs
* Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing, helping pupils access learning and develop life skills
* Support personal care, mobility, and daily routines where required (training provided)
* Work across different schools, year groups, and age ranges
* Collaborate with teachers, behaviour specialists, and pastoral staff to create safe and inclusive environments
Who We’re Looking For
* Experience in care, support work, youth work, or a similar role (transferable skills highly valued)
* Comfortable supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
* Patient, resilient, and calm under pressure
* Passionate about helping young people develop independence and confidence
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills
* DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
