Fund Controller - Internal Funds | Private Equity | London | £90-110k doe
We’re partnering with a leading global private equity firm to hire a Fund Controller into their Internal Funds team. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to co-investment and carried interest structures within a high-performing and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
This role sits within a growing Internal Funds function, supporting the management of co-investment and carried interest arrangements for senior stakeholders. You’ll work closely with internal teams, advisors, and fund administrators, gaining insight into complex fund structures and investor reporting and will have a heavy focus on carried interest.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain individual investment portfolios and review quarterly valuations
* Track and manage loan positions across internal investors
* Partner with fund accounting and deal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment activity
* Coordinate issuance of carry and co-investment documentation in line with scheme rules
* Calculate and process carried interest distributions
* Develop and enhance processes to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting
* Liaise with tax teams and external advisors to support accurate reporting of individual tax positions
* Oversee third-party administrators and review outputs
* Review work produced by junior team members
About You
* 6+ years’ PQE (ACA / ACCA)
* Strong integrity and discretion, with experience handling confidential information
* Proven stakeholder management skills
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets
* Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
* Experience in project management and process improvement
* A proactive team player with a solutions-focused mindset
