Hours: 8:15am-4:30pm - Mon Fri
This is a secondary special school for students with social, emotional and mental health needs in the London Borough of Hillingdon
This role consists in supporting the Headteacher in formulating school aims, developing the school improvement plan, and managing staff and resources

The ideal candidate will -

* Committed to understanding behaviour and working in partnership with parents, carers and agencies to help children manage themselves and maximise their potential
* Dynamic, energetic and innovative; keen to build on the strong ethos the school already has and position it to meet the demands of the future
Main duties -
* Safeguarding and welfare: Take a lead role in safeguarding, child protection, and other health and safety procedures. This includes managing attendance and transition programs.
* Student support and curriculum: Work with staff to develop alternative curriculum options, vocational provision, and work experience to meet students' individual needs. Support students who have experienced trauma or other barriers to education to engage, heal, and succeed.
* Data and performance: Analyze school data to identify trends in student progress and disaffection, and implement strategies to address these issues.
* Strategic development: Lead on key projects and initiatives, and contribute to the overall vision and direction of the school.
