University of Sheffield is excited to offer an opportunity to join the newly established School of Sociological Studies, Politics and International Relations as an Education Manager (job share). This is a key leadership role at the heart of a large, dynamic, and forward-looking School. You will lead the newly formed Education Team and play a pivotal role in supporting both our staff and students. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in programme and curriculum management within a higher education environment. You will be a confident and collaborative team leader, capable of working effectively with academic and professional services colleagues, students, and other stakeholders across the School, Faculty, and University. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact. You will help shape the direction of the team, develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with Faculty and University guidance, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, professional service. Working closely with the School Director of Education and their team, you’ll also contribute to strategic planning and delivery across the School’s education portfolio.
Responsibilities

* Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with Faculty and University guidance.
* Contribute to strategic planning and delivery across the School’s education portfolio and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, professional service.
* Collaborate effectively with academic and professional services colleagues, students, and other stakeholders across the School, Faculty, and University.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Educated to A Level standard.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Proven experience in line management.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
