What you will do:
* Hold and manage care proceedings from start to final hearing and permanency planning.
* Provide exceptional quality assessments and case management using evidence-based approaches.
* Work within a collaborative team setting, where manageable caseloads and reflective supervision are the norms.
* Support and mentor newly qualified social workers and students, contributing to developing the workforce of tomorrow.
* Engage in city-wide transformational programmes that improve outcomes for children and families.
We’re looking for a practitioner with:
* A Social Work England registration and recognised Social Work qualification.
* Significant experience in safeguarding and the family court arena.
* A comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including Working Together to Safeguard Children.
* The ability to complete high-quality assessments and evidence-based reports promptly.
* A child-centred, restorative approach, working collaboratively with families and other partners.
