Offer description

Working as part of a team alongside Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs), you will engage with individuals requiring advice and support, particularly related to domestic violence. You will support IDVAs by recording information on the case management system and making arrangements for interventions to help keep victims safe, such as referrals to other support services.

1. Answer calls from clients, gather information, provide advice, signposting, and complete assessments for support, including DASH Risk Assessments.
2. Record details of clients and support provided on the case recording system and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference System.
3. Implement support for victims, such as referrals to services, arrangements for safe accommodation, and supporting group work.
4. Experience working in a multi-agency setting to support vulnerable individuals, such as those experiencing domestic abuse or mental health issues.
5. Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with various professionals and handle situations where clients may be upset or angry.
6. Good organisational skills to complete tasks effectively within a busy service.
