We’re running a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while still receiving full-time pay. Some sites have already introduced 4DWW or are preparing to roll it out. This is a great time to join #teamOFG.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Designated Safeguarding Lead: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Isleworth campus, respond to concerns, ensure safeguarding compliance; work closely with the Deputy DSL team and safeguarding network across multiple sites; liaise with external agencies, parents/carers, and staff to ensure appropriate support.
* Collaboration & Leadership: Meet weekly with the Senior Leadership Team to review student needs and pastoral priorities; lead or support staff training on safeguarding, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing; develop student voice and involve learners in shaping their environment.

What We’re Looking For

* Significant experience working with young people with ASD or challenging behaviours
* Safeguarding experience (DSL certification or willingness to complete Level 5 DSL training)
* Experience in managing behaviour and leading de-escalation and support strategies
* Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and confidence in working with multiple stakeholders
* Knowledge of KCSIE, safeguarding legislation, and multi-agency working
* Basic IT skills and confidence in using data to inform practice
* Experience leading a team or managing performance is highly desirable
* A relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. Supporting Teaching & Learning) is desirable
