Key duties of the Performance Vehicle Technician include:
* Conduct maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on luxury and performance vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
* Use manufacturer diagnostics and specialised tools to accurately identify issues
* Work on a variety of vehicles, including modern performance cars and classic models
* Assist with vehicle inspections, MOTs (if qualified), and minor repairs, working proactively to meet daily targets
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
* Collaborate with team members, communicating effectively regarding job progress and technical challenges
Requirements for the Performance Vehicle Technician role:
* Proven experience as a Master Technician or Technician, ideally with a background in premium or performance vehicles
* Genuine passion for high-performance and luxury cars, with excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for tasks with minimal supervision
* MOT licence is an advantage but not essential; willingness to develop further skills is welcomed
* Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with older and complex vehicle components
* Good communication skills and a professional appearance
* Relevant qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
