Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team in Harpenden, working on the Thames Water framework. This is your chance to make a real impact!
Location & Hours
Location: Harpenden, with a blend of home and office working, plus occasional travel to various sites in the Thames Valley region.
Hours: 45 hours per week – we offer flexibility, so just let us know what works for you!

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our commercial team, supporting the commercial management of projects during the construction phase. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Ensure compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
* Manage valuations, project cash flow, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records.
* Prepare monthly cost/value reports for projects, reviewing results and considering trends with other contract team members.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
* A full driving license.
* Prior experience in a commercial role for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure.
* Experience with a variety of contract forms.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
