Electrical Controls Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to lead projects from concept to customer commissioning and field trials.
This role involves implementing engineering strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget and specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead engineering teams, using tools to clarify requirements and deliver cost-effective products.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear work packages, resolve technical issues, and determine optimal solutions.
* Take accountability for the technical design of product systems/subsystems, identifying risks, implementing mitigation actions, and escalating issues when necessary.
* Ensure modularity and standardisation to maximise reuse of engineering efforts.
* Contribute to project planning, prioritise tasks, monitor progress, and mitigate obstacles to meet timelines.
* Drive continuous improvement of controls engineering processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in controls and software within relevant industries.
* HND (or equivalent) or degree in a relevant technical discipline.
* Substantial experience in best-practice product design and development for electrical controls and instrumentation.
