Job Title: Religious Education (R.E.) Teacher Location: Secondary School - Stafford Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: [Long-term] About the Role Simply Education are currently working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in the Stafford area. They are seeking a creative and dynamic Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging R.E. lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment. Provide constructive feedback through marking and grading. Maintain discipline and encourage high standards of behaviour and punctuality. Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and teaching strategies. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student development. Key Skills & Qualities Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education and a passion for inspiring curiosity and reflection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective classroom and behaviour management techniques. Empathy and patience, especially when working with students requiring additional support. Essential Requirements QTS or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching R.E. in line with the national curriculum. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Desirable Experience supporting students with SEN. Commitment to inclusive education.
