Summary of the Account Manager role
Salary: GBP25,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37-hour working week, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of the Account Manager
* Act as the primary contact for requests for orders and quotes.
* Build strong relationships with customers.
* Handle customer escalations.
* Ensure orders are managed and shipped in a timely manner.
* Expedite orders.
* Issue credit notes.
* Answer telephone queries.
Requirements for a successful Account Manager
* Previous account management experience within a manufacturing sales environment.
* Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
* Excellent typing skills.
* Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and SAP.
* Experience using CRM systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
