Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 Hours: Mon - Fri Contract: Permanent
Overall Purpose
Search is thrilled to be supporting a local accountancy practice who are looking for a Payroll Assistant who loves accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about supporting businesses as they push forward.
In this role, you'll be a key part of the payroll function, working closely with the Payroll Manager and Finance Team to deliver a smooth, modern, and client friendly payroll service. If you're organised, detail focused, and passionate about delivering a high quality payroll service, you'll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities
* Payroll Delivery with Precision Deliver accurate monthly and weekly payroll, ensuring full compliance, and resolve daily client payroll queries.
* Supporting Payroll Procedures Maintain and update payroll policies while improving processes and managing smooth workflows.
* Cross Team Support Work closely with the wider finance team, take on additional responsibilities, and contribute to a positive, people focused culture.
What You Bring
* Practice Experience & High Volume Know How You’ve worked within an accounting or payroll practice and feel confident handling busy, varied workloads.
* Strong Payroll Knowledge From calculations to compliance, you know the mechanics of payroll and deliver consistency every time.
* Relationship Building Confidence You enjoy supporting clients, communicating clearly, and being a dependable point of contact.
